I’ve known Kirstin since I was sixteen years old, back when I worked for her at her wellness center, Lux Tan & Cryo. Even then, she had a way of seeing people - believing in them before they believed in themselves. When I first picked up a camera, just shooting for fun, Kirstin became my earliest and loudest supporter. She trusted me with creative freedom before I even understood what that meant.

I still remember the day she asked me to create promo videos for the wellness center. At the time, they felt small - simple projects, just experimenting. I had no idea those first “yeses” would quietly open doors, shaping the path I walk today as a photographer. Looking back, it feels like one of those moments life plants gently, knowing it will bloom later.

So capturing Kirstin and Jeremy’s wedding day at the Abernathy Center wasn’t just an honor - it was a full-circle moment. One rooted in years of trust, encouragement, and shared growth. Their day was filled with warmth, intention, and a love that felt steady and true - the kind you feel in the pauses, not just the big moments.
